Gate Motor Installations
Sliding and swing gate motors with battery backup, safety beams and remote/app control. Repairs on existing motors too.
View detailsFrom a four-camera starter system to a fully monitored estate installation, we design CCTV around how your property is actually used — and how it needs to keep working when the power doesn't.
A CCTV system is only as good as its placement and its uptime. We start every job by walking the property with you — gate, driveway, side access, pool area, front door — and place cameras to cover the routes someone would actually take, not just the obvious ones. Then we cable it properly, so the system isn't relying on a WiFi camera that drops the moment your router does.
Because load shedding is a fact of life here, every system we design accounts for it: battery or UPS backup sized to your stage schedule, and a recorder that keeps working — and keeps recording — through an outage instead of resetting every time the power comes back.
Front door, driveway and back access covered, with app notifications when someone arrives — so you see the delivery, the visitor, or the alert before you open the door.
Installations that meet body corporate and estate management requirements, with camera placement that complements — not duplicates — existing estate perimeter security and access control.
Till points, stockrooms and entrances covered for both loss prevention and staff safety, with footage exported quickly if you ever need it for an insurance or incident report.
Remote viewing of common and exterior areas so owners who don't live on-site can check in from anywhere, without monitoring anything inside a guest's private space.
Weatherproof, night-vision-capable cameras suited to entrances, driveways and perimeter walls.
For larger stands or estate common areas where one camera needs to cover a wide, active area.
See and speak to whoever's at the gate or front door from your phone, whether you're home or not.
Local recording that keeps footage on-site, with the option to also push clips to the cloud for off-site backup.
Live and recorded footage on your phone, with motion alerts you can tune so you're not notified every time a leaf moves.
Sized to your typical load shedding stage, so recording continues and cameras stay live through an outage.
We assess the property with you, identify blind spots and priority areas, and talk through what you actually want the system to catch.
A clear layout — how many cameras, what type, where the recorder sits — with an upfront price, no surprises on the day.
Cabling run neatly, cameras mounted and angled, recorder and backup power installed and connected.
We set up remote viewing on your phone, show you how to review footage, and confirm every camera's field of view with you before we leave.

Most freestanding homes are well covered with 4–6 cameras: front gate/driveway, front door, and one or two covering side access and the back of the property. Larger stands, corner properties, or homes with a pool or cottage usually move to 6–8. We'll walk the property with you and recommend based on what's actually there, not a fixed package.
Yes. Every system we install includes app-based remote viewing, so you can check live footage or scroll back through recordings from anywhere with data or WiFi — not just on the local network.
Cameras and the recorder draw relatively little power, so we size a battery or small UPS to bridge a typical outage in your area's load shedding stage. The system keeps recording and stays viewable on your app throughout — this is one of the first things we check when quoting.
Yes, regularly across Bedfordview, Edenvale, Kempton Park and the wider East Rand. We work alongside existing estate perimeter security rather than duplicating it, and we're familiar with the access and cabling rules most body corporates require.
Local (NVR/DVR) storage is generally more reliable and has no ongoing subscription cost, but footage is only as safe as the recorder itself. Cloud backup adds a monthly cost but protects you if the recorder is damaged, stolen, or disconnected. Many of our clients run both: local storage as the primary, cloud as backup for key cameras. We'll talk through the trade-off for your situation.
In most cases we can add to what you already have, provided the existing recorder has spare channels and storage headroom. If it doesn't, we'll tell you honestly rather than selling you cameras that won't record properly.
